If you issued an invoice (or more) for Person, but you need this invoice to be issued for a Legal Entity, the ATLAS Team will assist you. This process can not be done automatically, but only manually. To do so, follow these steps:
- The ATLAS Client must submit a request / raise a ticket to our Support department, in which he/she outlines, in as much detail as possible, what should be changed
- ATLAS will contact the other party, the ATLAS Specialist, to ensure that he is aware of the Client's requirement / request and the impact on its accounting records
- Then, ATLAS will make the respective changes, and will communicate to the Client and the Specialist the changes made
Why can't invoices be reissued/re-generated automatically?
For legal and fiscal reasons, invoices issued by a Person can not be automatically reissued / re-generated by ATLAS Users, as a invoice for Legal Entity - or vice versa.
This is not possible because it would give the opportunity to record different information in accounting.
Example: The Specialist may register the invoice in his / her accounting at the time of the original generation, when it was issued to the Person. The Client, in turn, could issue the invoice for the Legal Entity, and then register it in its own accounting after the re-generation. Thus, when authorities perform cross-checks, these issues will be observed.
